82% Colombian Dark Hand Tempered BarRegular price £5.00
The Arhuaco Community, indigenous to the Caribeean Coast of Colombia, were forced into the highlands for centuries by Conquistador invaders. Now they are successfully reviving their tribal cacao culture that was almost extinguished by the Conquistadores, who thought the rare white cacao was infected and so destroyed most of the trees.
The Arhauco have only recently been able to start reharvesting their precious white cacao, and have named these surviving trees and their stock 'Businchari': 'New Beginning'.
This chocolate from Original Bean has been hand-tempered by White Rabbit, and has flavour notes of ripe red currants with rounded earthy undertones.
