One thing that you can guarantee is never in short supply at the enchanting world of White Rabbit Chocolatiers is Christmas spirit!

This is one of our favourite times of the year and whatever the weather is doing, you can be sure our happy band of White Rabbit elves will be busier than ever in the kitchen concocting a magical range of chocolatey Christmas gifts to suit any budget.

Imaginative gifts for every budget

It’s also an incredibly busy period for us – believe it or not but we’ve been hand-rolling more than 1000 truffles a day to satisfy demand from customers both online and in the shop who are gobbling up our medium and large boxes of the tantalising treats.

Master Chocolatier Amy Fenner said: “This year we’ve brought back some of our previous festive favourites as well as introducing some exciting new products, such as our advent calendars with the option of solid chocolates or a selection of our delicious truffles, which have gone down a storm.

“Fans of the hand-painted Santa’s Boot, containing honeycomb ‘coal’, will be pleased to see its return, as well as the Christmas Bauble, Jolly Snowmen and hat-clad Santa Bunnies.

“Our ‘boozy selection’ box of chocs featuring rum, Cointreau and Champagne truffles is always extra-popular at this time of year too.”

Who doesn’t love a happy penguin?

New for 2018 is the gorgeous hand-decorated Happy Penguin, who is so pleased because he has caught his Christmas dinner! Available in milk or dark (vegan) chocolate, each one contains a whole chocolate fish.

Nothing says ‘merry Christmas’ better than a hand-made greetings card that you can scoff after reading – crafted from our extra fine chocolate, we’ve crafted three unique designs and each edible card is available in white, milk and dark chocolate.

Naturally, our award-winning Georgian hot chocolate drink in our Dyer Lane café is always popular during the winter months. In addition to this, we are offering customers who fancy something a little bit different a limited edition Christmas hot chocolate, with delicious tones of spiced orange. Amy added: “We know how much people enjoy taking some time out from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping in our café, so we’ve created this special chocolate drink as a proper winter warmer just for the festive season.”

Getting into the Christmas spirit

We’ve also been having a fabulous time at local seasonal events, with stands at the amazing Beverley Festival of Christmas and Cottingham Christmas Festival. “The markets have been wonderful, Beverley beamed with visitors, regulars, small businesses and Christmas cheer.” Amy said. “The team worked super hard and we’d like to thank everyone who visited us, supported us and had kind words for us. We’ll look forward to seeing you all again in 2019!”

Don’t forget Hull residents and visitors can now enjoy a taste of White Rabbit magic on their doorstep, at our new store in the centre of the city. The new outlet – launched in November – is next door to the Two Gingers Coffee House in the historic arcade, which is brimming with traditional Victorian charm and looking particularly festive with all its beautiful Christmas trimmings.

We’ll be open right up until 4pm on Christmas Eve at both our Beverley and Hull shops, and our friendly team can help you choose that perfect present for friends and family, so hop along for a chocolatey dose of Christmas spirit.
